Our snow make-up day in on schedule for tomorrow, Saturday, February 15th.  The building will open for all students at 8:45AM.  Dismissal will begin at 12:45PM.  Breakfast and lunch will not be served. Important Information for Parents

We hope all Timber Drive families are enjoying track-out.  Parents are encouraged to look in their child's bookbag for information related to first quarter report cards and your right to request information on the qualifications of our teachers.  If you have any questions, please call Mrs. Culberson at (919)773-9500 or send an e-mail to kculberson@wcpss.net .

Volunteers for 2013-2014

Please remember that all volunteers must reactivate as a volunteer by Thursday, October 31st by 4:00PM. We encourage all Timber Drive volunteers to reactivate or register by the 31st.   This is also required for parents who are interested in volunteering for field trips. Please come to the main office for assistance with this process. You can read more about volunteer opportunities at http://www.wcpss.net/community/volunteer.html .

For the rest of the school year, the volunteer system will only be open on Mondays from 8:00AM-4:00PM from November 4, 2013 through May 19, 2014.  The system will be closed on November 11th, December 23rd, December 30th, and January 20th.

2013-2014 School Year

We are excited to begin another school year and look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow at 8:45AM!  Parents are welcome to help their child carry their school supplies to the classroom in the morning.  If you are unsure of your child's class assignment for this year, please report to the media center for assistance. Our teachers will begin instruction promptly at 9:15AM. Please note that our dismissal process will be slow and deliberate for the next several days to ensure our students' safety and understanding of procedures.  All parents must have a Timber Drive carpool tag to use during dismissal.  Please remain in the carpool lane during dismissal.  Parking in the lot and asking your child to walk across carpool traffic is not safe and we discourage this. If you have any questions or concerns, please call our main line at (919)773-9500 and we will assist you as soon as possible. You can follow bus dismissal times on Twitter @TDESbuses.

Thank you Timber Drive Teachers and PTA!

This week, we are so thankful for the teachers and support staff at Timber Drive Elementary School. Please join us in honoring Timber Drive teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week.

We are also thankful for our PTA who hosted our annual Howlabration Friday night.  It was a wonderful night and everyone had lots of fun. 

Finally, we look forward to seeing you all this Friday, May 10th at 9:30AM for DanceFest.  Our students have worked hard to prepare for this exciting activity.   Parents, grandparents, and friends are invited to attend!
